Throughout the year, the Henning-Parker Foundation will hold a number of fundraising events to honor the leaders of the community for their consistently outstanding services. These events also help the Henning-Parker Foundation to fulfill the fundraising necessary to maintain their excellent programs.
Bowling For Youth Safety and Education
This years event will be held at the AMF Bowlero Lanes in Wauwatosa. The Bowlero is the largest bowling center in Wisconsin with 72 lanes, large main lounge called The Burleigh Pub, along with a banquet hall with seating for 250 people, a gameroom and pro shop. Our goal is to fill all 72 lanes with 5 person teams of kids and their families. A raffle will be held and door prizes will be given away all day long.
Fishing for Youth Safety and Education
Both Quadrevion and Purvis loved fishing. This event will teach kids fishing skills and most importantly water safety. This event will bill held annually each spring starting 2008.
Posters for Youth Saftey and Education
Purvis was an artist! He loved to draw and one day hoped to become an architect. This event will be held annually each fall and showcase the artwork of Milwaukee's children. The theme will be child safety and each year the Henning-Parker Foundation will use the winning artist's work in their promotional materials and on their Web site.
